Serious cultural coverage in mainstream media is disappearing while quality talk about cultural issues on the web is scattershot at best. Blank is a reliable, interactive place for smart, provocative coverage of arts and ideas, including commentary and debate on the latest in visual arts, dance, movies, books, music (pop, classical, jazz), television, and theater. We will energetically develop cultural coverage for the new media, creating a collaborative community whose critical views may take the form of videocasts, podcasts, and cartoons as well as written pieces.
